After Breakfast you will have an exciting drive through beautiful villages, busy towns, woodlands and paddy Fields and you will reach to Wilpattu national park. There you will have an exciting experience as a wild safari. There you will find elephants, wild bears and specially leopards. Ending safari you will have to come to your destination to Anuradhapura, the first capital city of ancient Sri Lanka.

After Breakfast you will be leaving on a sightseeing tour of the first capital city Anuradhapura. It is recognised by UNESCO as a world heritage. There you find a number of archaeological marvels built by several kings in the Anuradhapura kingdom, especially Ruwanweli Dagoba, Thuparamaya and Jaya-Sri Maha Bodhi. After visiting ancient monuments, later you will be taken to Mihintale, the place where Mihindu thero met King Devanam Piyatissa and the king became a Buddhist.

After breakfast you will visit Sigiriya and have a journey by Bullock cart. Later can taste delicious rice and curry as lunch. In the evening you will visit to famous Sri Lankan landmark Sigiriya fortress. It is 200m above the sea level. It is also one of the heritage sights listed by UNESCO. It is built by king Kashyapa.

Having your breakfast you will be leaving to Polonnaruwa, the city with royal palaces. There you find king’s council hall and many other ruins of Buddhist shrines, where you can see archaeological sites. This afternoon, you can relax as you like.

Today you will be leaving to Kandy en-route to visit Dambulla cave temple which built in the first entury B.C. It is the most impressive and largest rock cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Later you have to leave to Kandy, en-route visit the spice gardens located in Matale. In the evening you can visit the temple of tooth relic, which houses the most sacred relic of the Load Buddha.

After breakfast take a stroll through the royal botanical garden, which started off as a pleasure garden for Sinhalese Royalty. It is having an amazing over 300 varieties of Orchids, probably the largest collection in Asia. Kandy is the 3rd largest city in Sri Lanka, with more facilities for shopping and has an unbelievable city tour. End of the day at night you can see a dramatic cultural show which features twelve folk and traditional dances accompanied by ceremonial drums and drum orchestra.

After breakfast you will be leave to the hill country. Sri Lanka is famous for tea plantation, tea products and tea factories. There you can see how the world’s finest tea is made from tea buds. First, Tamil woman pluck tea buds and carry to the factory. At the factory tea leaves are processed and graded to the varieties. On the way to Nuwara Eliya there are some beautiful attractive locations such as waterfalls, golf course and Victoria Park. Here you find the highest mountain in Sri Lanka called “Piduruthalagala”. It is 2500m high.

After early breakfast or packed the breakfast, you will leave to adventures drive into Horton Plains Nation Park, which located at an attitude of over 2000m and it is covering an area of 3160 hectares and circular track will take approximately 3 hours to complete. It will be a remarkable experience to you. After that you will have an unbelievable train journey from Nuwara Eliya (Nanu-Oya) to Ella.

After having breakfast, you will be leaving to Little Adam’s Peak in Ella. It will be a interesting hiking event for you. Ella area has a rich bio-diversity with number of varieties of flora and fauna. This town has a cold climate than surrounding lands, due to its elevation. Ella is famous for its Nine Archers Bridge in Demodara. It is one of the best examples of the colonial era railway constructions.

After breakfast you will be leaving to Kataragama. The literal Sinhalese meaning of Kataragama is the “village in the dessert”, due to this location dry zone. Kataragama is famous religious temple among Buddhists, Tamils and Muslims. Afterward, you will be leaving to the Yala National Park, the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. It is a home to forty four species of mammals, such as elephants, leopards, monkeys, sloth bears, red slender lotus, crocodiles and fishing cat. As well as 215 birds species.

After breakfast you will proceed to Mirissa for your beach stay. Mirissa is famous for whale watching and surfing. If you visit Sri Lanka between May to October, we suggest you to beach stay in the East Coast. Between November to April, south coast is the best area to stay.

After breakfast you will be leaving on the leisurely drive to Bentota en route visiting the Stilt fishermen. When you reach to Kosgoda, you find many turtle hatcheries among the beach. Kosgoda is called “the heaven of turtles”. There you can learn about the turtles and having pictures with them. There are seven varieties of turtles called “the ridgeback”, “hawkbill”, “green turtle”, “olive ridley” and “lodggerhead”, “leatherback”, “Kemp’s ridley”, “flatback”.
